Recommended feeding
- Provide approximately 2.0-2.5 kg daily for body maintenance.
- Add approximately 400-500 g for each litre of milk, while adjusting the total ration to the animal's condition and forage quality.
- As a practical range, cows yielding up to 10 litres may require about 4.0-4.5 kg daily; cows yielding 10-15 litres may require about 5.5-6.5 kg daily.
- Divide the daily quantity into morning and evening meals.
Feeding and management guidance
- Feed with adequate green fodder and 4-5 kg dry roughage, based on farm conditions.
- Introduce gradually over 7-10 days when changing from another feed.
- If using mash, keep it fresh and avoid prolonged soaking or storage after wetting.
- Provide unrestricted clean drinking water.
