CALF GROWER
Balanced post-weaning nutrition for steady, healthy growth
Product overview
CALF GROWER is formulated for the rapid growth period after weaning. Compared with starter feed, it places greater emphasis on sustained frame growth, lean tissue development and effective fibre use as the calf becomes fully dependent on solid feed.
Suitable for
Weaned calves approximately 2-6 months of age

- Offer roughly 1.5-2.5 kg per calf per day, depending on size, breed and target growth.
- Divide into two regular meals.
Feeding and management guidance
- Pair with clean, good-quality hay, straw or suitable forage; roughage may form about half of total intake at this stage.
- Avoid sudden introduction of heavy silage; transition gradually after about 5-6 months where appropriate.
- Maintain a clean, dust-free feeding area.
- Provide unrestricted fresh water.
Frequently asked questions
How is calf grower different from calf starter?
Starter feed develops the rumen while the calf is still receiving milk. Grower feed supports continued frame and muscle growth after weaning.
Can grower feed be introduced suddenly?
No. Blend it gradually with starter feed over about two weeks to reduce digestive upset.
